Cloud computer application is easy to use, convenient, and economical. The cloud-based application works like the native application with the only difference that it’s worked on the cloud and that it is being interacted with the help of the internet.
In simple words, cloud application provides services on the internet against some nominal charges. The application-servers for cloud computing applications are typically placed in a remote data center which is operated by a third party cloud service infrastructure provider. The cloud-based application may include ERP application, CRM application, healthcare industry, emails, data collection, financial accounting features, etc.
Cloud computing applications can be used in any industry including the healthcare industry. It provides large storage, instant service to the patients, improves operational efficiency, thus improving the overall service.
In the times of the native application, no one knew or understood the meaning of cloud-based applications. But with the changing times cloud-based applications are gaining a lot of momentum. Native applications provided some extra security features but the ease of use, safety, reliability, accessibility that is provided by the cloud-based application has made life much simpler.
Unlike the foregone days, now if you like to work on some of the project, you can do it at your office, home, car, airport anywhere you wish to as long as you have access to uninterrupted internet.
Another main difference is that all the cloud apps are web apps whereas all the web apps are not cloud apps. Some other points of difference are that of scalability, where the cloud apps are inherently scalable, web apps have limited scalability.
Cloud apps have a very high uptime whereas the web apps have a limited uptime.
The future is awaiting unmanned vehicles and that is enabled by vehicle cloud computing. From the smallest changes in the vehicle such as GPS and car infotainment system to some more advanced services such as car performance monitoring or fixation of a problem in the car without information to the driver himself.
Cloud-native application refers to the application type that utilizes infrastructure and services provided by cloud computing providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azur.
